Lay Dharma Study Group

The Lay Dharma Study Group usually meets on the second Sunday of the month after service to explore Buddhist topics together. The group is using “Awakening to the Lotus: An Introduction to Nichiren Shu”.

The Lay Dharma Study group is now in its 2nd year, and we invite you to join us! Whether you are new to the teachings or a long-time practitioner, all are welcome to participate in our monthly sessions.  For this year (2026), our goal is to make the Lotus Sutra understandable and relevant. We have found that discussing introductory texts together leads to a deeper appreciation of the Sutra and provides practical encouragement to apply it in our everyday lives.
